Land Use Map - Tacloban

This was one of my very first map I did as a GIS professional when I started working. We created this map for disaster risk reduction management in areas affected by Typhoon Haiyan in Tacloban City (Philippines).

UWF Main Campus Location

My first map as a student in UWF as I plan my way in taking my Master's degree. This map focuses on the location of the UWF's Main campus with inset maps on where it is located in Escambia County, Florida.

Bobwhite-Manatee Schools and DCs Proximity Map

Here's our first project map we did for a UWF class that lets us use multiple geoprocessing tools. At this step we want to define if there are any schools and daycares that are within the proximity of the transmission line.

UWF 3D Scene Map

This is a map with LiDAR layer added to and converted to a Digital Elevation model that helped us symbolize it on a map either in 2D or 3D view.

Completeness of Road Network Map

This map is about data quality assessments by evaluating accuracy/completeness by road networks. We were given two (2) road networks in Jackson County, Oregon named TIGER Roads from the 2000 census data and street centerlines data created by the county itself.

Nigeria LGAs HIV Health Services Map

This is one of my best visualized map that I was very proud of - the time I became a global staff for our ICT4D Team. This map represents a kernel density of health services paired with HIV information per local government area (LGA) in Benue State, Nigeria.

GIS Day 2016

I created this publicity material as our organization's celebration for GIS. As one of the first pioneers of GIS in the organization, this is important to share on how we have improved project's decision making using GIS.

CRS Programs Worldwide Map

With the help of Innovate, Inc. we developed an ArcGIS Online Map that is connected through a SQL Server database which exports data from Salesforce (our organization project database). Then using Python we connected the SQL database to run weekly and draw country polygons showing no. of beneficiaries, expenditures, no. of projects per sector, etc. This has yet to be the hardest one yet as I learn to setup ArcGIS Server.

Landslide Risk Map -Rohingya Refugees

With the use of drone images elevation data, and building data to calculate how many camp tents will be affected by landslides during the Rohingya refugee response.

ArcGIS Dashboard of Rohingya Camps Monitoring

From the static maps that I created, I also devised a way for engineers and field staff to report issue about different facilities in our camps. I overlaid layers related to flood and landslide that helps project managers for better site plan. We used Collector for ArcGIS for data collection and Web App for ArcGIS for the dashboard.

Awesome OSM - Guide on Mapping Building Footprints

The Awesome OSM: A Comprehensive Guide on Mapping Building Footprints was prepared by students from the University of the Philippines with help from CRS. It serves as a guide for Local Government Units (LGUs), student-mappers, researchers and other volunteers on the process of mapping and validating building footprints in OpenStreetMap (OSM) via desktop computers, mobile devices, and field papers.

Benin LLIN Dashboard

We setup a geographic coverage dashboard using the data from Maxar to enable the tracking of voucher distribution and redemption coverage rates by field agents, NMCP National, Department and community supervisors. The platform and the model measured coverage rates in each region of Benin.

Benin LLIN Model

This automatic model was used to upload data constantly in our Benin LLIN Dashboard. Combining the Maxar building data and GPS data colelcted through the registration form using RedRose platform, this model creates the coverage map on what areas have been missed or have been visited.

Sub-catchment Watershed Model Pilot Map

With the help of Villanova interns, we have devised a model to automate the process of delineating watershed for country programs to access through ArcGIS Online without having to call out multiple geoprocessing tools in ArcGIS Pro.

Here's the model to simplify all the work in delinearting sub-catchments of watersheds which is adjustable according to the project's available data.
